Apple Pie Filing
Apple Pie Filing:
Ingredients
2 large fuji apples
1 1⁄2 cup unfiltered apple cider
1⁄2 cup brown sugar
Nice Pinch of salt
Pinch of ginger
Pinch of cinnamon
1 tbsp of butter
Apple Filling Instructions:
Boil 1 cups of cider with a pinch of salt, ginger, and cinnamon
Whisk together 4 tablespoons of cider quarter and 3 tablespoons of corn starch
Once the cider comes to a bowl, add in the corn starch and cider mixture and stir to mix it all
together.
Once mixed together remove from heat
Peel your apples and dice your apples
Melt 2 tablespoon of butter in a pan and add the diced apples until they start to get a color to them
Add a pinch of salt and pinch of cinnamon
Add another tablespoon of butter in the goo after it has set for 10 mins
Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar with your apples once the color has presented itself.
Turn off your heat and add in half of the goo. Mix together!
